A FALL WEEKEND IN THE PARK, IN HISTORIC YBOR
CITY
MAIN STREET ARTS & CRAFTS SERIES
(Ybor City –
Tampa, Fl) – Historic Ybor City’s peaceful and
beautiful Centennial Park is the perfect place
to spend the weekend of September 20, 21, 2003.
The Main Street Arts and Crafts Series will fill
the park and surrounding streets from 9:00 am to
5:00 pm. Parking is free, admission is free –
fabulous free family enjoyment!
Artists and
Crafters from all over the country as well as
Tampa Bay have traditionally flocked to Ybor
City since the 1970’s to celebrate the changing
of the seasons by participating in these well
established Arts and Crafts shows. The District
will feature over one hundred artists and
crafters displaying their art for your
enjoyment. Parents can stroll the park, while
their children enjoy art projects and fun.
The weekend will
also feature the Ybor City Fresh Market, a
weekly farmers Market held in Centennial Park.
The Ybor City Fresh Market expands their weekly
Saturday hours to also include Sunday. The
Market features the freshest produce, baked
breads, fresh cut flowers and other unique
treasures.
The Ybor City Main
Street Association is part of the National Main
Street Center, established by the National Trust
for Historic Preservation. Main Street’s purpose
is to push community involvement in creating a
common goal of providing a positive image of
Ybor City for its residents, visitors and
businesses alike, increasing its potential for
economic growth. The Main Street Arts & Crafts
Series is the major fundraiser for the Ybor City
Main Street Association.

is truly the setting for a beautiful weekend
featuring the Main Street Arts & Crafts Series,
the Ybor City Fresh Market and all the fabulous
shops, restaurants, theatres, coffee houses,
